Urban Chords describes a day in the life of seven professionals working in the city of Buenos Aires, specializing in such different areas as medicine, odontology, biology, veterinary, teaching and music therapy, who also dedicate part of their lives to their other calling: music. The film shows them in their professional work and musical endeavors.
This audiovisual exploration verifies that both activities arise as an existential and spiritual need which allows a beneficial interaction between the roles of scientist and artist.
Currently, where technical and scientific specialization are primary goals for many in society, they seem to be guided by the Greek ideal of combining science, everyday life, and art as a sum of stimuli that allow an increased sensible vision of life.
